Legal experts covering intellectual property, copyright law, securities, labor and contract law also support the Management Team.
Chris Boyes
Content Development Advisor, Founder, Board Member
Mr. Boyes is a sound designer and re-recording mixer based out of Skywalker
Sound in Marin County. He has worked on many feature films including Minority
Report, Lilo and Stitch, Blood Work, Jurassic Park I, II and III and Dinosaur.
In addition to feature film work, Chris has done extensive field recording
all around the world. Chris has also created special sound EFX for multiple
applications like high-end commercials and radio tags for European radio
stations. Chris has also designed applications for audio outboard gear
such as reverb processing devices. Chris has won numerous industry awards
including Academy Awards for Best Sound for Pearl Harbor and Titanic.
His most recent credits are Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
and Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Mr. Boyes holds a Bachelors degree
in Cinema from San Francisco State University.
Spencer Brewer
Owner, Laughing Coyote Productions, Co-Founder
Laughing Coyote Productions is located amongst the redwoods & vineyards of
northern California and has been in operation since 1992. LCP is a recording
facility as well as a production house that currently has over 200 record releases,
numerous award winning films & commercials and has been the sole producer
of HighWired¹s extensive content library since it¹s inception. LCP
is owned and operated by Spencer Brewer, an internationally recognized composer,
producer, pianist and entrepreneur who also is one of the founders of HighWired.
Dr. Keith Bhatia
Senior Vice President of Business Development, IP Unity
He leads the expansion of IP Unity's industry relationships,
business strategy and global alliances. Keith has spearheaded IP Unity's
partnerships with the industry's top-tier network and systems integrators,
including Nortel, Siemens, Motorola, Cisco, IBM, Accenture, NEC and Sonus.
He was instrumental in the company's carrier wins in North America, Europe,
Japan, South Asia and Latin America.
Prior to IP Unity, Keith was vice president for global sales at SS8 after
the purchase of the ADC division Keith was leading as the vice president
for global sales as well as managing the transaction. At ADC Keith was
responsible for more than $100 million in revenue by growing one of the
software divisions by starting and nurturing a new security product line.
He led business development at Nokia and held managerial posts at Ericsson
and Philips Telecom and Data Systems. Keith holds a Doctorate of Business
Administration from Nova Southeast University in Florida, and an MBA from
Sheffield Hallum University in the United Kingdom. He has an undergraduate
degree in Electrical Engineering.
Keith has been an invited speaker at industry business and technical symposia,
including Pulver’s Executive Summit, VON USA and VON Europe, the
International Communications Forecasting Conference, the Global Communications
Strategy Forum, ATKearney’s Global Tech and Telecom Competitiveness
Summit, SIP Forum Summits, IMTC/Wainhouse Research Conference and Internet Telephony Conferences.
Demetris Paraskevopoulos
Nif/T Founder
Paraskevopoulos has over 35 years experience in high tech development and management,
in start up company environments as well as large corporations. His experience
ranges from new product development and introduction, to extensive operational
management in marketing and sales. In addition, he has extensive accomplishments
in business development and strategic negotiations. His previous roles included
General Manager of Tower Semiconductor USA, Inc. and VP of Business Development
at an Internet related startup firm. Earlier positions were VP of Marketing
and Sales at National Semiconductor and he held several management positions
in technology management and operations at Xerox Corp.
